Women advisers — driving future growth

Women are making money. Women are inheriting money. Women want to secure their financial future. Women are becoming comfortable with investing in markets.

It is no surprise that the research shows that many women prefer to deal with a female investment adviser. Yet investment advice in Australia remains one of the most male-dominated professions in the country, despite the strength of the business case for gender diversity.

Hear from our panel of female advisers about:

  • how they entered the industry and what attracted them to the role
  • whether there were any barriers and
  • their views on what the industry could do differently to attract and retain women and
  • how to articulate the value of the profession for women.

The panel discussion will be followed by networking drinks. So come along to meet female advisers and decision makers from across the industry.

Date:                   Wednesday 20 March
