Calissa Aldridge
Calissa leads the Markets Group, which manages the end-to-end process for regulating markets. This includes supervision, investigation and enforcement for market infrastructure, market intermediaries, corporate finance activities and trading on exchange and over-the-counter markets. She sponsor’s ASIC’s current work program on evolving capital markets, including public and private markets. Since 2009, Calissa has held senior leadership roles at ASIC. Before joining ASIC, she held several roles in the UK and Australia across investment bank compliance, regulation and government policy.
Shane Bell
Founded in 2023, NSB Cyber is a highly specialised cyber security consultancy. Over the span of his 20 plus year career, Shane has operated in various leadership roles across the cyber landscape. For the first decade of his career he operated mostly in cyber response, acting as a cyber expert in hundreds of incidents and crisis moments. For the second decade of his career, he has turned his attention to the more proactive landscape of cyber, working with clients to set strategies, and to design and operate programs geared for meaningful cyber resilience.
Caroline Bowler
Caroline is the former CEO of BTC Markets and a senior financial services professional with more than 20 years’ experience. She works closely with regulators and industry stakeholders on responsible crypto and blockchain legislation to support Australia’s position as a technology hub. Her career spans investment banks, hedge funds, fintechs and advisers, with a focus on digital assets since 2015. Caroline is a former Blockchain Australia board member, an award-winning fintech leader, and a regular media commentator.
Amanda Boyce
Amanda is Executive Director of Euroz Hartleys Limited and the Euroz Hartleys Foundation, and Head of Advice, leading growth and advice strategy. She has over 20 years’ experience across advice, wealth and strategic projects. Amanda began her career at Goldman Sachs JBWere, spanning Private Wealth Management and Equity Capital Markets, and later became Head of Syndicate following the NAB acquisition. As Head of Advice for WA and SA, she expanded wealth advice to banking clients. She advocates for diversity and mentors emerging talent.
Richard Carleton
Richard joined the CSE in November 2005 as VP Corporate Development, with responsibility for the exchange’s trading, market data and technology teams. He was subsequently appointed CEO of the organisation in July 2011. Richard is also Chair of Tetra Trust, an Alberta recognised trust company focused on custody services for digital assets, a board member of Blue Ocean ATS, a director of Safe Harbor Financial, as Nasdaq-listed financial technology firm that secures banking and related services for the legal cannabis industry in the United States, and Non-Executive Director of NSX.
Marco Chung
Marco leads sales and relationship management for equity and options trading across the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions at the New York Stock Exchange. He also oversees the exchange’s global strategy for market data products. With a strong foundation in equity derivatives structuring from his early career at major investment banks, Marco later held senior roles at leading providers of electronic trading solutions. Prior to joining NYSE, he served as Head of Asian Markets Sales, Trading, and Market Data at the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX).
Simone Constant
Simone commenced as an ASIC Commissioner in November 2023 and brings more than 25 years’ experience across financial services, markets, legal services and risk management. Prior to this, she was Chief Risk Officer, Institutional Bank and Markets at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and previously held CRO roles at the National Australia Bank. Simone has also held senior NSW Government roles and worked internationally in Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom with multinational investment, capital management and law firms.
Max Cunningham
Max has over 30 years’ experience in Australian and International Capital Markets. Max began his career with Macquarie Equities Private Client business as a stockbroker in 1994 and moved to the Institutional desk in London in 1997. Max joined Goldman Sachs International Desk in New York in 2004 before relocating to Sydney in 2008 to head Equity Capital Markets. In 2013 Max moved to ASX to lead the Listings business. Max joined NSX in 2024 and oversaw the sale to the Canadian Securities Exchange in late 2025.
Frank Danieli
Having joined the firm in 2013, Frank is responsible for the firm’s platform, which invests across asset backed lending, corporate debt and specialty credit verticals. Frank also collaborates on the strategic direction of the lending businesses, which include non-bank lending and financial technology platforms. Frank’s background includes substantial experience in corporate advisory, where he focused on special situations, M&A and financial services transactions. Notable transaction experience includes Alinta Energy, Billabong, Ten Network, Slater & Gordon restructure, among others.
Hamish Dee
Hamish has over 30 years’ experience of working in the stockbroking industry. Hamish joined Morgans Financial Ltd in 2003, then known as ABN AMRO Morgans Limited, and in 2006 became a director responsible for overseeing equity derivatives, market operations and compliance within the organisation. Hamish is also a director of the Morgans Foundation, a member of the SIAA Derivatives Sub-committee and became Chair of SIAA in 2023.
Paul Derham
Paul helps clients in the financial services industry to meet their legal and compliance obligations. Since 2001, Paul has regularly assisted businesses acquire their Australian Financial Services Licences (AFSL), and build robust governance systems to help them stay out of court, and out of the hands of regulators. Paul began working for Holley Nethercote in 2001.
James Dickson
James is the Founder and Managing Director of Oceanic Consulting Group (OCG). Leveraging over 20 years in financial services, he has positioned OCG as a trusted partner for leading wealth managers and banks. The firm delivers solutions across risk management, regulatory transformation, financial remediation, and operational strategy. Recognised as an industry expert in crisis management and strategic execution, James has a proven track record in advice remediation, M&A advisory, and post-acquisition integration. Under his leadership, OCG has advised several Australian institutions on complex challenges, helping them navigate risk, compliance, and operational strategy.
Jason Entwistle
Jason has over 30 years’ experience in financial services. In 1990, he was part of a small team that created the successful Navigator master trust. Jason has consulted extensively on portfolio administrative platforms to over 20 leading financial institutions throughout Asia Pacific and the UK. He was the co-founder of Avanteos, which was launched in 2001 as Australia’s first online wrap platform and later purchased by the CBA and rebranded Colonial FirstWrap. Jason is one of the longest-serving HUB24 team members, having been involved with the business in various roles for over 15 years.

Jake Fisher
Jake is a Managing Director in our Chicago office and a member of the private credit research team. Prior to joining Cliffwater in 2022, Jake was a Managing Director with Crescent Capital Group where he was responsible for leading capital development for private debt strategies in Asia and select US accounts. Previous experience includes Managing Director at Antares Capital where he led deal teams in credit underwriting and origination.
Catherine Fitzpatrick
Catherine is CEO of Flequity Ventures, Adjunct Associate Professor at UNSW School of Social Sciences, an AFR | Qantas 100 Women of Influence and founder of the Financial Safety Alliance, a partnership with finance sector industry associations to tackle financial abuse. A former bank executive turned social entrepreneur, she pioneered financial safety by design after uncovering abuse in online banking and leading industry-wide reforms to stop it. Her ground-breaking Designed to Disrupt® reports and Respect and Protect™ campaign have mobilised businesses, regulators and governments globally.
James Giarratano
James Giarratano is VP, Head of Sales, Cboe Australia at Cboe Global Markets, Inc. (Cboe), responsible for growing the firms Cash Markets business in Australia. With over 20 years of electronic trading experience, he has a proven track record of driving strategic growth and building high-impact partnerships through identifying opportunities, fostering client relationships, and executing strategies that propel organizational success. Prior to joining Cboe in 2022, James held senior roles at BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank and KCG across New York, Sydney, and Hong Kong
Steven Goh
Steven is a serial entrepreneur and co-founder of Faybl, an AI platform transforming financial advice delivery. A pioneer in online financial services, in 1995 he founded Sanford Securities, Australia’s first online stockbroking company, and co-established Bell Direct, and several other tech companies. With a career spanning Australia, Silicon Valley, Europe, and Asia, Steven has built and scaled technology companies across fintech, social media, and AI. He has been recognised in WA Business News “40 Under 40” and as an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist.
James Hammond
James, with over two decades of financial services experience in Europe and APAC, serves as VP of Business Development APAC. Leading ANZ operations, he crafts business strategy and drives sales. Spearheading Mottai, a FlexTrade subsidiary, he pioneers digital trading solutions. Before joining FlexTrade, James led Wealth business development at LSEG Australia, where he successfully oversaw the transformation of their local wealth offering, ultimately establishing them as the leading solution provider in New Zealand.
Crystal Hanna
Crystal leads the Financial Products team across IDPS, Super, Wholesale and Managed Accounts. Crystal has overseen and built other multi-billion-dollar platforms in Australia and Germany. At Netwealth, she is evolving the product suite to better meet adviser and client needs, strengthening governance and investment communications, improving Super and IDPS onboarding, and partnering with advisers and licensees to co‑create solutions that reduce admin, create efficiencies and support practice growth and automation.
Chris Hill
Starting as a Business Development Manager in 2007, Chris has held several roles including Strategic Account Manager and State Manager of Queensland where he focused on providing ongoing and viable partnerships between AUSIEX and its new and existing Financial Planning and Stockbroking clients. In his current role, Chris is responsible for the management of AUSIEX’s Strategic Relationships, including large Dealer Groups, Institutional and Business to Business and strategic vendor partnerships. Chris’ role also has oversight of all of AUSIEX’s service and relationship management teams.
Michelle Huckel
Michelle worked as lawyer specialising in financial services law, IPOs and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, before taking up the role of legal counsel and compliance manager at Shaw Stockbroking. Michelle previously worked as a policy adviser at Governance Institute of Australia. At SIAA Michelle undertakes research and analysis for the development of advocacy initiatives, provides an early warning system of impending legislative and regulatory issues of relevance to members and represents the association externally with government, regulators and other bodies.
David Hutchison
David is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in product management, investments, and consulting, including senior roles at MLC and NMG Consulting. He is responsible for helping advisers run their investment proposition (including Managed Portfolios) efficiently via the North platform, continuing the strong flow and rapid growth of North as a highly competitive platform. David works closelyl with the team on further developing and accelerating growth plans for North’s managed portfolio and investment menu business.
Andrew Inwood
Andrew is the founder and principal of CoreData and has more than 30 years’ experience in financial services. He began his career at Rothschild Australia Asset Management before spending over a decade at AMP Investments, including a secondment to Virgin Direct in the UK. He later held senior roles at Wizard Home Loans and Telstra before establishing CoreData, which now operates internationally. Andrew has authored more than 50 major research papers and is a respected keynote speaker on client behaviour and experience.
Ben Jackson
Ben has over 30 years’ experience across five international exchanges including International Petroleum Exchange (IPE), the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE), London Commodities Exchange (LCE) and Sydney Futures Exchange (SFE). He has been with ASX for 22 years and is currently responsible for the operation of ASX equity and derivatives trading and clearing systems, as well as market surveillance and announcement platforms.
Karl Jancar
Karl began his career in boutique wealth management and financial planning before joining Shaw and Partners in 2013. After three years in front-office roles implementing trading strategies and working with retail to ultra-high-net-worth clients, he moved into operational transformation roles across institutional, research and corporate teams. Karl now plays a key role in business strategy, and oversees adviser onboarding, client services and middle office, portfolio and platform services, international operations, office expansion, and IT and workplace technology.
Andrew Jappy
Andrew has over 30 years of international leadership experience in financial services technology and brings an in-depth understanding of international markets. His experience includes more than 20 years at Canaccord Genuity, where he served as Executive Vice President and Group Chief Information Officer. He was an expert consultant to Canadian and global companies on a range of technology and business growth initiatives and joined Iress Canada over 6 years ago and recently moved to head up their APAC trading division.
Andrew Jones
Andrew commenced as Acting Group Executive, Securities and Payments in March 2026. In this role he is responsible for ASX’s cash equities clearing and settlement businesses, ASX’s settlement and depository business for the wholesale debt market, ASX Collateral, payments, and financial settlement management (FSM/Sympli), issuer and post-trade investor services, and overall executive responsibility for the delivery of CHESS replacement. Prior to this, Andrew was General Manager Equities in Securities & Payments at ASX.
Dan Jowett
Dan has been the CEO of Openmarkets for the last four years and before that was the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of Shaw and Partners. Dan commenced his career providing financial assurance and advisory services while at PwC Australia and KPMG UK, and has 30 years of professional experience across stockbroking, wealth management, funds management and investment banking. Dan is a Responsible Executive ASIC Market Integrity Rules (ASX Markets) and holds numerous qualifications both here and in the UK.
Helen Lofthouse
Helen commenced her current role in August 2022. She is an accomplished financial markets executive with more than 20 years’ experience in cash equity and debt markets, listed and OTC derivatives, and clearing and settlement services. Helen joined ASX in September 2015 and has held senior executive roles with the company. Prior to joining ASX, Helen was a MD at UBS (2011-2015) with global responsibility for the OTC clearing business and Head of Clearing and Execution Sales in Europe. Helen was announced as one of the World Federation of Exchanges’ (WFE) Women Leaders for 2021.
Maria Lykouras
Appointed SIAA CEO in December 2025, Maria is an accomplished executive with over 25 years of experience in financial services, having held leadership roles in wealth management, private banking, risk, and compliance. In July 2022, she became the first woman to be appointed CEO of JBWere Australia. Prior to this, Maria spent a decade at the CBA, serving as General Manager of CommPrivate Advice and General Manager of Licensee Services for all of the CBA advice businesses. She is a strong advocate for inclusivity and financial independence, particularly for women in wealth management.
James Macaulay
James joined Morgans in 2005 in Corporate Advisory, advising on ASX listings, equity capital and M&A. In 2016 he became an investment adviser, providing wealth management to individual clients. He has since held senior roles including Head of Private Wealth and Deputy CEO, strengthening the firm’s advisory capabilities and supporting the growth of its national adviser network. With more than 20 years’ experience, and a background as a solicitor, James now leads the firm’s national strategy and growth agenda.
Helen Mason
Helen leads credit portfolio management, including being responsible for the investment decisions across the Schroder Australian High Yielding Credit Fund and Schroder Australian Investment Grade Credit Fund and other credit sub-funds. She is also the portfolio manager for and was instrumental in the development of the Schroder Real Estate Debt Fund. Helen also undertakes credit research, analysis and monitoring of companies issuing into the Australian credit market. Helen commenced this role in August 2010.
Karl Morris AO
Karl has a career spanning more than 30 years in financial services and wealth management. He was awarded an Officer of the Order of Australia (AO) in 2019 for distinguished service to the financial and stockbroking sectors and the community, and received an honorary doctorate from Griffith University in 2022. Karl chairs the Brisbane Broncos Ltd and Braveheart’s Foundation Fund, and has held leadership roles on several industry and community boards, including SIAA Chair (2012-2018) and QSuper Chairman (2013-2019).
Diana Mousina
Diana joined AMP in 2016 within the AMP Investments team. Diana’s responsibilities include providing global economic and macro investment analysis to retail, institutional and internal customers through her regular Econosights reports and presentations. She also contributes to the asset allocation decisions of the AMP multi-asset funds. Previously, Diana worked at the Commonwealth Bank as an economist in the Institutional Banking and Markets division.
Denis Orrock
Denis joined Praemium as Chief Strategy Officer in November 2022. He has over 30 years of experience in financial services including as CEO at GBST Broker Services and Head of Capital Markets at FNZ. Denis has a strong track record of leading organisations through periods of strong growth to help them reach their corporate ambitions.
Kaajal Prasad
Kaajal leads LGT Wealth Management’s work with high net worth and ultra high net worth families on governance, succession and strategic wealth transfer. Kaajal helps families define their values, clarify long-term objectives and structure their affairs for effective intergenerational stewardship. Previously a partner in KPMG’s Family and Private Client practice, Kaajal has more than 18 years’ experience advising families and not-for-profit boards on succession planning, asset protection, governance and growth strategies.
Cameron Robertson
Cameron joined Platinum in 2010, initially focusing on resources and industrial companies, and later on the technology and communications sectors. In early 2017, Cameron was appointed as co-manager of the Platinum International Technology Fund and was later the sector lead of the technology and communications team. In April 2021, Cameron was appointed a co-manager of Platinum’s Asia ex-Japan strategy and sole manager in March 2024. Prior to Platinum he worked as an equity analyst at CP2 (formerly Capital Partners) for several years.
James Rodda
James is the lead Portfolio Manager for the Antipodes Global SMIDs Fund – Active ETF (ASX: MIDS). He joined Antipodes in 2015, having previously worked as an investment analyst in the Asia team at Platinum Asset Management. From 2008 to 2013, James participated in the ANZ Generalist Banker Program, culminating in his appointment as Head of Financial Institutions at ANZ Papua New Guinea. His experience spans Treasury, debt capital markets and credit roles across Australia, Hong Kong and Papua New Guinea. Prior to this, he worked as an investment analyst in a family office.
Gopala Subramanium
Gopala is a finance industry veteran with more than 20 years’ experience, specialising in driving revenue growth, cost discipline and sustainable profitability. He has led major transactions, including the Religare IPO, and overseen financial and operational strategy at Contemi. Educated with an EMBA from S.P. Jain School and a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors, Gopala brings a global perspective grounded in ethical leadership, innovation, mentoring and community engagement.
Eleanor Swanson
Eleanor is a Portfolio Manager for the Firetrail Australian Small Companies Fund – Active ETF. Eleanor’s primary sector responsibilities are Technology, Healthcare and Australian Small Companies. Eleanor has over 12 years’ relevant industry experience. Prior to joining Firetrail, she worked as an analyst at Macquarie Group with the Firetrail team on the Macquarie Australian Equities strategies.
Alexander Treves
Alexander is the Head of the Investment Specialist team in Asia within the Emerging Markets and Asia Pacific (EMAP) Equities team, based in Singapore. An employee since 2017, Alexander has worked in asset management for over 30 years. His previous roles include Head of Japanese Equities (Tokyo), Head of Indian Investments (Mumbai), and Head of Japanese Research (Tokyo) for Fidelity International. He also served for several years as an equity analyst and portfolio manager in London and Singapore for Merrill Lynch Investment Managers (formerly Mercury Asset Management).
Will Trout
William focuses on technology strategy and innovation in capital markets, with deep expertise in platform automation, data and analytics, and portfolio management. He brings more than two decades of experience across wealth and asset management, including senior roles at Celent (Oliver Wyman), Javelin Strategy & Research and BBVA Compass, where he supported the rollout of managed-accounts platforms. A recognised authority on digital advice delivery, William is widely quoted in leading financial publications and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences.
Kim Venter
Kim works with business‑owning families and family offices on intergenerational wealth transfer, governance and succession. With over 20 years’ of global experience in wealth management, Kim supports families to navigate the transition of wealth and control by strengthening decision‑making structures, engaging the next generation and aligning values with long‑term legacy. She brings a practical, human‑centred approach to helping families prepare for responsible stewardship across generations.
Martijn Verbree
Martijn is a digital and cyber risk executive with 25 years’ experience across financial services, critical infrastructure and technology sectors. He has delivered more than 100 cyber security and risk transformation engagements globally, spanning advisory and audit roles. His experience includes acting as interim Chief Risk Officer for Booking.com and leading major cyber and risk transformation programs for organisations including National Grid, Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, Royal Bank of Scotland, UBS, Shell and DPD.
Karren Vergara
Karren, a seasoned financial journalist at Financial Standard, has spent the last nine years covering wealth management, including superannuation, funds management, and financial planning. With over a decade of prior experience as an accountant, she brings a unique blend of financial acumen and journalistic skill to her work. Karren holds a certificate in journalism and a Bachelor’s degree in business, both obtained from UTS.
Chris Webster
Chris brings over 20 years of experience in financial services, leading high-performing advisory teams across Australia. Chris is passionate about empowering advisers to deliver exceptional client outcomes through innovation, integrity, and a client-first mindset. Prior to joining Canaccord in 2021, Chris spent 11 years at Euroz Hartleys and 4 years at Deutsche Bank in London. Over his career, Chris has worked in a variety of roles including Institutional Sales, Operations, Risk & Compliance, as well as a number of external NFP board roles.
