About Us
The Stockbrokers Association of Australia (SAA), formerly known as the Securities and Derivatives Industry Association (SDIA) is the peak industry body representing institutional and retail stockbroking firms and investment banks in Australasia. The Association strives to promote the high standards, skills and knowledge of securities & derivatives professionals.

Since forming in 1999 we have been hard at work to deliver on our mandate and actively engage our members, regulators and other market participants to further strengthen the stockbroking profession.

Our Principal Members are institutional and retail stockbrokers and investment banks of all sizes across the entire breadth of the industry. We also represent individual practitioners.

We have a detailed understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing our industry on both a local and global front. The diversity our membership is reflected in the make up of our board, as well as those professionals who contribute to our network of committees and advisory panels.
